My apologies for not writing this testimonial for you sooner .

I used the Vulcan Hector shadowline cladding on a Architecturally designed double storey studio in East Victoria Park .

I found the product to be very well machined and incredibly straight even in 4.8 mtr lenghts . It was a pleasure to use and the finished product was first class . I honestly believe that it’s the best solid timber external lining board on the market today . So if you’re looking for an external cladding that’s visually pleasing and stands out from other products , I would Highly recommend it . Austim were extremely helpful and informative regarding the installation procedure and the specific finishes available .

I had been looking for some cedar for my kayak project and had rung a couple of other places with no luck. I was chasing Merbau decking approximately 300 LM in long lengths. Other suppliers would only do random lengths and my client insisted no joins on his new deck! I rang Austin and spoke to Ben. I explained what I needed and in a short period of time my order was complete(with exactly the lengths needed) and transport was booked and delivered 2days later.

My order was done over the phone so I hadn’t seen the timber and trusted Austin to pick for me. The quality was fantastic every length dead straight.

Austim have supplied all of the timber products for our project on Victoria Ave, Dalkeith, including cedar shiplap cladding and basement beams, spotted gum flooring and decking and laminated recycled spotted gum stair treads and large balusters.

It’s been refreshing to deal with a company who don’t just talk about great service, they actually do it. He was on time and on budget and not as expensive as we had feared, with a very pleasant manner and pleasant assistant. Importantly and unusually, they cleared up after themselves daily and ensured no mess was left at the end of the job. I"d like to thank Austim for there help in supplying me with material that firstly I thought I'd have trouble sourcing as it was marring up with originally 30 year old existing timber.My project was not a massive project but still needed the attention of an new build.The timber supplied by Austim was machined to size with absolute perfection, where I had to remove old pieces and replace with the new pieces they fitted perfectly.once the floors are re-sanded and varnished they will be back to there former glory. Thanks again to the staff at Austim.Regards Bob Heppenstall.I've just added a finished photo after the Floor Sanding was completed.Original timber was Tassie Oak, and the new is Vic Ash, as you can see there is only a slight variation in the final product.I hope this gives anyone thinking doing the same the confidence to proceed. Wow! What amazing customer service. Ron took care of working out what I needed and guided me expertly through the product range. Competitive pricing and quality product with a knowledgeable team backing it. Ben assisted me in finding the best matching colour composite timber slats for a project, had them in stock and delivered within days of ordering. Prompt delivery and nicely wrapped for protection. I've even been quoted more $ from their competitors who are local to me when I needed more and Austim still beat them, even with delivery! I know where I'll be going when I need to start the decking project, thanks team.
