Where to use Bespoke Plywood

Bespoke Plywood is versatile and suitable for various applications, especially in alfresco and external settings.

  1. Alfresco ceilings and walls
Ideal for alfresco areas. Bespoke Plywood can cover large areas with ease, and the five-coat system keeps it looking great over time.
  2. Eaves linings
This plywood provides a long-lasting, visually appealing solution for builders working on outdoor eaves or covered spaces.
  3. Internal ceilings and feature walls
For interior projects, Austim Bespoke Plywood brings a refined, natural aesthetic to ceilings or feature walls. Its high-class finish ensures a polished look that enhances the overall appearance of residential or commercial spaces.

Installation guidelines

Proper installation is crucial to the performance of the plywood. Austim recommends a mechanical fixing installation method to ensure optimal results.

1. Ceiling joist or wall frame application
Involves using screw or pin nail fixings in combination with adhesive for ceilings or feature walls where battens provide structural support, allowing for a secure installation.

2. Concrete ceiling or masonry wall application
As above, however it will require battens to first be fixed to the masonry structure.

Maintenance requirements

Bespoke Plywood requires minimal maintenance, making it a practical choice for both residential and commercial applications. For areas that are accessible homeowners can maintain its pristine condition with the following care routine.

  1. Regular dusting
Use a microfibre cloth to dust the surface and remove any dirt or particles that may accumulate over time.
  2. Cleaning spills and stains
For spills or light stains, clean the surface using warm, soapy water. This method ensures that the finish remains intact and maintains its polished appearance.
  3. Handling scratches and extreme stains
In cases of deeper scratches or stubborn stains, Austim recommends contacting their team for advice on repair or restoration, ensuring that the plywood’s finish is preserved.

Durability and warranty

Austim’s Bespoke Plywood is backed by a 5-year warranty, covering defects in material and workmanship under normal usage conditions. This guarantee gives builders and clients peace of mind, knowing they are investing in a product designed to last. The warranty highlights Austim’s confidence in the longevity and performance of Bespoke Plywood.
