All the components used to manufacture Trex are recycled and reused, and the process to make the boards is environmentally responsible. Trex is made from reclaimed timber, wood and plastic which would otherwise have gone directly into landfill. Design options
While Trex is a manufactured product designed to have a timber-like look, the colour and grain will vary from board to board. The natural deck colours will complement your furniture design options and allow you to add other features to create the perfect outdoor space.
When installing, it is recommended that boards be mixed up, not just taken from the top of the bundle. This is particularly important when more than one pack is used on a job.
Sizing of the boards should be considered during the planning stages of your project. Trex decking boards are 140 mm wide but allow for some variation in board width.

Trex products are designed with the consumer and timber decking contractor in mind. Meeting the demand for increased ease and speed of installation, the Trex Universal Hidden Fastener is approximately 41 per cent stronger than traditional fasteners.
The Hidden Fastening System comes with a stainless steel screw built into the fastener for more robustness and easy installation.
Offering a neat, clean appearance, the Universal Hidden Fastener is a 6.4 mm auto-gapping connector clip that is easily installed. Users can also take advantage of the affordability of the Universal Hidden Fastener, as it offers the lowest fixed prices in the market.
A second fixing method is the Klevaclip. Designed specifically for use with the Trex grooved edge board, this snap-loc fixing will provide consistent gapping and fast installation, saving time on-site.
